This according to new research discovered by Develop Magazine, which found that a
sampling of 292 World of Warcraft players, ages 12-83 years, were more likely to feel calm or
tired after playing a round of the popular online game.

"There were actually higher levels of relaxation before and after playing the game as opposed
to experiencing anger but this did very much depend on personality type," said Jane Barnett,
who headed the Middlesex study. Translation: If you're an aggressive jackass before you play
a video game, you'll still be one after; and video games don't magically turn peaceful people
into violent offenders.

Barnett added the research will help develop an emotion and gaming questionnaire to help
distinguish the type of gamer who is likely to transfer their online aggression into everyday life.

Those at GamePro believe the questionnaire will also help weed out blatant media-hungry
opportunists who have used the relatively young video game genre as a platform for blatant
self-promotion.

First it was coming in November 2007, then it was pushed back to the second quarter of
2008, but now it looks like the highly anticipated new chapter in the Star Wars game library
will finally be gracing store shelves this September.

In an almost simultaneous worldwide launch, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be
coming to North America on September 16, Southeast Asia and Australia on September 17,
and Europe on September 19.

In The Force Unleashed, gamers will play Darth Vader's secret apprentice. The game is set
between the ending of the movie Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and the
beginning of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The secret apprentice is tasked by Vader to
rid the world of the scourge of the Jedi, and "promises to unveil new revelations about the
Star Wars galaxy."

LucasArts describes the game as "one of the most ambitious projects" it has ever launched.
