"Last Night on Earth, The Zombie Game is a fast-paced game of brain-eating Zombies, small
town Heroes, and horror movie action. Players take on the role of either the Heroes, working
together to make it through the night; or the Zombies, unending waves of undead spreading
over the town like a plague. Featuring a modular board, eight Heroes to choose from, and
several different Scenarios to play that drastically change the game, Last Night on Earth is
designed to create a cinematic feel as the story and game unfolds." - Official Site

Although there were many platforms at PAX
08, one that some people don't think so much
about anymore is the tried and true table top.
We got a glimpse of Scrye Magazine's top
board game pick of the year called "Last Night
on Earth" by Flying Frog Productions.

This table game puts a line of heroes versus
zombies in great 'B' movie fashion. With
several scenarios available to play, players
are able to portray the hometown characters
or the zombies setting the stage for a horror
movie type action.
We got to watch a demo of the game onsite at the convention and we being big time horror
junkies ourselves found it to be a great premise for a game. Each of the heroes in the game
have special attributes to fit your playstyle, from the small town sheriff, to the farmers
daughter, to the local drifter, amongst a few. Or you can just be zombies and try overrun
ning
the place, YEAH BRAINS!

Combat seems simple enough to learn on the fly, and the slasher brain eating tone was just
too cool for us to  overlook. Can't wait till my copy gets here. Check out
Last Night on Earth.
MMMM BRAINS!
