A lot to smile about
Brian Azzarello And Lee Bermejo to attend
Wizard World Texas 2008
Congers, NY – There’s no question that 2008 has
been the year of the Joker, and with a hardcover comic
book by two of the biggest names in the industry
coming out this October, his year is only getting better.
Acclaimed writer Brian Azzarello (100 Bullets) and
influential artist Lee Bermejo (Hellblazer) will be
teaming up again to tackle another one of comicdom’s
greatest fiends: The Joker. In this special hardcover
from DC Comics, the creative duo presents a Joker
unlike any seen before in comic book history. Azzarello
and Bermejo don’t stop there. They also tackle some
other devilish members of Batman’s Rogue’s Gallery,
including Killer Croc and the Riddler.
"Visually I think all the characters have their own little flair that's different from what you see in
the monthly titles," artist Lee Bermejo told Wizard. "That definitely goes hand in hand with the
story."
The Joker hardcover marks the third time Azzarello and Bermejo have crossed paths. They
previously worked together on the miniseries Batman/Deathblow: After the Fire and took on
DC Comics’ other iconic evil-doer, Lex Luthor, in Lex Luthor: Man of Steel. With The Joker,
however, the pair finds themselves working together better than ever on, as Azzarello puts it,
the most intense work he’s ever produced. Azzarello stated, "I’ve written a lot of violent things
in my time, and this is the most violent book I’ve ever written."
During their appearance at Wizard World Texas, Azzarello and Bermejo will be involved in a
wide-range of panels and signings as well as behind-the-scenes looks at this surefire hit
hardcover. Wizard World Texas will be the comic community’s first chance to see this pairing
together in public, promoting The Joker. This is a not-to-be-missed event!

Is it over? Did EA concede on the take down?
By Crutchboy
Well apparently EA has decided to pull all offers given to
the buyout of GTA4's Take-Two. Since then the stock has
decreased 23% according to Yahoo. Sounds signifigant
to us.
So this leaves us to believe will there be a possible
return offer? Thats what investors are saying. Lose 1
wanted star. [Source]
