In my time of not sleeping, eating or catching up on my Seinfeld reruns I do squeeze a bit of
gaming in… mostly weekly raids of World of Warcraft and the occasional Forza 2 Racing on
the 360, yes i'm fast in my sherbert green 04 Ferrari.

Anyhow i'm getting at the fact I miss my Star Wars gaming fix quite a bit. I could fire up
Battlefront 2 and burn through some troopers with my purple lightsaber for awhile, but
actually I am longing badly for a fresh Star Wars RPG… ie, Galaxies.

In the mass mess of what I would say SOE did to SWG, totally reformatting the game to
basically a fps rpg, which is all dandy if yer a new player but not what it used to be. In all
contemplation I find myself returning to the Lucas Arts web site to recap on the still last story
updated on this topic over and over…

LucasArts and BioWare Corp. to Create Ground-Breaking Interactive Entertainment Product
SAN FRANCISCO, CA and EDMONTON, CANADA — October 30, 2007 — LucasArts and
BioWare Corp. today announced that they have entered into an agreement to create an
interactive entertainment product. The product, details of which will be unveiled at a later date,
will be developed and published by BioWare and LucasArts, and will push the boundaries of
the gaming market by utilizing the strengths of both companies to deliver an innovative, high-
quality experience.

“LucasArts has a deep commitment to developing compelling stories and characters for the
unique medium of interactive entertainment, and we have been searching for a developer
that shares this value. We found this in BioWare,” said Jim Ward, president of LucasArts.
“Through our previous collaborations, we know that BioWare has an impressive ability to
blend gripping stories with technological advancements, and we believe that our upcoming
product will deliver an experience that will span the traditional boundaries of video game
entertainment.”
