New Incredible Hulk Movie
Cause they couldn't get it right the
first time?
By Crutchboy
For summer 2008 you can expect to see another big green premiere of Marvel Comics
Incredible Hulk (the 2003 version was simply entitled 'HULK').
So what makes this one different? Well from the title I hope it to be 'more incredible' than the
first since it's predecessor didn't come through like some of us comic book nerds had hoped
it too. I'm excited, the cast looks great - Ed Norton as Bruce Banner seems very compelling at
the least.
Here's what Marvel's site has to say about it:
The Incredible Hulk kicks off an all new, explosive action packed epic of one of the most
popular super heroes of all time. In this new beginning scientist Bruce Banner (Ed Norton)
desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes
the unbridled force of rage beneath him: The Hulk.
Living in the shadows - cut off from a life he new and the woman he loves Betty Ross (Liv
Tyler) - Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt
Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit
his power.
All three grapple with the secrets that led to the Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a
monsterous new adversary known as the Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength
exceeds even the Hulk's own.
Opens June 13, 2008 in theatres and from the trailer it appears to cover most of the same
story line as the 2003 version did, the Hulk origin and such with an adversary and love
interest. So why the redo? Guess well have to wait and see, I'd love to see this one be a
smash. /chuckle
